Police & Communities Together - Community Update

Dear Resident,

At the recent PACT meeting for the Ward 18, Wakefield Rural NPT area, held at Woolley Village Hall, a number of local residents joined Neighbourhood Officers where the following concerns were raised and discussed: 

Speeding – various locations

Speed enforcement operations have been carried since the last meeting and will continue where staffing allows at hot-spot locations.

Woolley viewing point - cars causing nuisance and potential drugs.

High-visibility patrols conducted and will continue to do so, no offences discovered so far.

Fly tipping – Woolley Services

NPT officers have reported this to Wakefield council.

Cross Road / Haigh Lane – weight limit introduction

This is an issue for Highways dept at Wakefield Council, they have been notified.
